The Fort Dorchester Patriots (North Charleston, SC) basketball edged the visiting White Knoll Timberwolves (Lexington, SC), 47-40 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 7-9 record. They play next when they host West Ashley for a AAAAA Region 8 bout on Tuesday, January 14. Fort Dorchester will play a Wildcats team coming off a 50-49 league win over James Island (Charleston, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-6.
