January 11, 2025: Gardiner, ME 04345 Gardiner Tigers (Gardiner, ME) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME), 60-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Gardiner advances its record to 6-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to Lawrence (Fairfield, ME) to face the Bulldogs in a A North match on Monday, January 13. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 1-9. Lawrence won 49-48 in their recent league match against Nokomis (Newport, ME)
The Falcons now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yarmouth for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. Freeport will face a Clippers squad coming off a 57-45 league win over Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME). The Clippers record now stands at 8-3.
