Illinois High School Basketball - Lincoln-Way Central nips Glenbard East
January 11, 2025: New Lenox, IL 60451 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Lincoln-Way Central Knights basketball team scored a close 62-58 win over the Glenbard East Rams.
The Knights (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL). The Boilermakers come into the SouthWest Suburban contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Bradley-Bourbonnais edged Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL), 56-35, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rams battle the South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 13. Glenbard East will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Storm come into the contest with a 5-12 record after their 43-37 league loss to Larkin (Elgin, IL).
