Ohio High School Basketball - Huron knocks off Western Reserve
January 11, 2025: Huron, OH 44839 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Huron Tigers (Huron, OH) and the visiting Western Reserve Roughriders (Collins, OH), observed Huron's basketball team overcome Western Reserve by a margin of 60-50.
The Tigers (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Port Clinton (Port Clinton, OH). The Redskins come into the Sandusky Bay - Bay challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Port Clinton dropped by Van Buren (Van Buren, OH), 58-40, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Roughriders battle the Plymouth Big Red (Plymouth, OH) in a Firelands challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Western Reserve will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Big Red come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 47-46 league loss to St. Paul (Norwalk, OH).
