January 11, 2025: Belleville, MI 48111 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Belleville Tigers (Belleville, MI) and the visiting Thurston Eagles (Redford, MI), observed Belleville's basketball team overwhelm Thurston by a margin of 66-28.
The Tigers (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Fordson (Dearborn, MI). The Tractors come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Fordson was ripped by Wayne Memorial (Wayne, MI), 32-28, in a league bout.
With the loss, Thurston falls to 7-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Crestwood (Dearborn Heights, MI) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 3-5.
