January 11, 2025: Tacoma, WA 98403 Annie Wright Gators (Tacoma, WA) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Bear Creek Grizzlies (Redmond, WA), 73-30 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Annie Wright advances its record to 10-3 on the year. The Gators host Klahowya (Silverdale, WA) to face the Eagles in a 1A Nisqually match on Tuesday, January 14. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 3-8. Klahowya lost 68-37 in their recent league match against Cascade Christian (Puyallup, WA)
The Grizzlies now own a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Granite Falls for a 1A Emerald Sound match on Tuesday, January 14. Bear Creek will face a Tigers squad coming off a 39-31 non-league win over Tyee (SeaTac, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-6.
