The Normal West Wildcats (Normal, IL) basketball toppled the host Champaign Central Maroons (Champaign, IL), 43-28 in Saturday's league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Glenwood for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. Normal West will play a Titans team coming off a 66-56 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, IL). The Titans record now stands at 10-6.

With the loss, Champaign Central falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Maroons host Springfield (Springfield, IL) to play the Senators in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 15.
