With the victory, Southwest Covenant advances its record to 4-4 on the year. The Patriots host Cyril (Cyril, OK) to meet the Pirates in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Pirates enter the battle with a record of 8-1. Cyril won 42-27 in their recent non-league battle against Stratford (Stratford, OK)
The Blue Devils now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carnegie for a Freelance battle on Tuesday, January 14. Cordell will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 59-44 league loss to Fort Cobb-Broxton (Fort Cobb, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-9.
