Corona Panthers (Corona, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Walnut Mustangs (Walnut, CA), 59-49 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Corona upgrades its record to 19-3 on the year. The Panthers travel to King (Riverside, CA) to face the Wolves in a Big VIII match on Tuesday, January 14. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 18-4. King won 60-41 in their recent league match against Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA)

The Mustangs now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Diamond Bar for a Palomares match on Tuesday, January 14. Walnut will face a Brahmas squad coming off a 77-47 non-league win over Silverado (Victorville, CA). The Brahmas record now stands at 9-3.
