Kent's four game winning streak came to an end on Saturday as they suffered their first loss of the season in tough home game against their rival Loomis Chaffee. Kent was sluggish to start the game falling behind 3-0 after one period. Kent found their game in the second eventually getting on the scoreboard with 37.7 second remaining in the period on Isabel's 6th goal of season. Isabel scored her second goal of the game to cut the lead to 3-2 early in the third. Kent had a golden opportunity to tie the game midway through the period on the powerplay following a tripping penalty to Loomis. However, Loomis' goalie stonewalled Kent stopping 6 shots during the powerplay to keep the lead. Loomis sealed the victory scoring their final goal with 1.2 seconds left in the game.
