January 11, 2025: Reading, MA 01867 The Frederick Gunn Highlanders (Washington, CT) ice hockey trounced the host Austin Prep Cougars (Reading, MA), 9-2 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Highlanders now own a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Albany Academy for Boys for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 15. Frederick Gunn will encounter a Cadets team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Hill School (Pottstown, PA). The Cadets record now stands at 4-11.
With the defeat, Austin Prep moves to 3-7 on the season. The Cougars host Wilbraham & Monson Academy (Wilbraham, MA) to encounter the Titans in a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 15.
