California High School Basketball - Summit Shasta holds off El Camino
January 11, 2025: South San Francisco, CA 94080 The Summit Shasta Black Bears basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host El Camino Colts to 44 in the Black Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Black Bears now have a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Basis Independent Silicon Valley for a game on Tuesday, January 14. Summit Shasta will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 36-31 non-league win over Pinewood (Los Altos Hills, CA). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, El Camino falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Westmoor (Daly City, CA) to confront the Rams in a game on Tuesday, January 14. The Rams go into the game with a record of 4-6. Westmoor lost 53-26 in their recent league game against Aragon (San Mateo, CA)
