California High School Basketball - University thwarts Piedmont
January 11, 2025: San Francisco, CA 94115 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the University Red Devils (San Francisco, CA) and the visiting Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA), observed University's basketball team knock off Piedmont by a score of 72-61.
The Red Devils (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against International (San Francisco, CA). The Jaguars come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, International was knocked off by Miramonte (Orinda, CA), 59-47, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Highlanders encounter the Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Piedmont will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record.
