Louisiana High School Soccer - Grant nudges Union Parish
January 11, 2025: Farmerville, LA 71241 The Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA) soccer nipped the host Union Parish Farmers (Farmerville, LA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Cougars now hold a 3-13 record. They play next when they host Buckeye for a Division III District 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 14. Grant will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to West Feliciana (St. Francisville, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-12.
With the loss, Union Parish moves to 2-7 on the year. The Farmers host Delta Charter (Ferriday, LA) to encounter the Storm in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 11. The Storm go into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Delta Charter lost 5-2 in their recent league challenge against Grace Christian (Alexandria, LA)
