In Tuesday's league outing, the Starks Panthers (Starks, LA) basketball squad beat the visiting Johnson Bayou Rebels (Cameron, LA), by a count of 62-50.

The Panthers (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against South Cameron (Creole, LA). The Tarpons go into the C District 6 outing with a 1-8 record. In their last outing, South Cameron was topped by Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA), 83-29, in a non-league outing.

The Rebels now hold a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to Hackberry for a C District 6 outing on Thursday, January 14. Johnson Bayou will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 58-55 league loss to Northside Christian (Crowley, LA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-10.
