Maryland High School Basketball - Glenelg nips Howard
January 12, 2022: Glenelg, MD 21737 Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD), 60-56 in a league bout.
With the win, Glenelg upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Gladiators host Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD) to play the in a Howard County bout on Friday, January 14. The go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Marriotts Ridge won 80-58 in their recent league bout against Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD)
Next up, the Lions play the River Hill Hawks (Clarksville, MD) in a Howard County bout, on Friday, January 14. Howard will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 55-42 league loss to Atholton (Columbia, MD).
