New Milford Knights (New Milford, NJ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lyndhurst Golden Bears (Lyndhurst, NJ), 44-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, New Milford upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Knights host Ridgefield Memorial (Ridgefield, NJ) to play the Royals in a North Jersey - Liberty bout on Friday, January 14. The Royals come into the bout with a record of 1-4. Ridgefield Memorial lost 59-37 in their recent league bout against Secaucus (Secaucus, NJ)
