Ohio High School Basketball - Ashland can't hold off Sandusky

The Sandusky Blue Streaks basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Ashland Arrows to 42 in the Blue Streaks non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Blue Streaks now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vermilion for a Sandusky Bay - Lake contest on Saturday, January 15. Sandusky will battle a Sailors team coming off a 53-29 non-league win over St. Paul (Norwalk, OH). The Sailors record now stands at 10-4.

The Arrows (3-11) will now prepare for their bout against Madison Comprehensive (Mansfield, OH). The Rams go into the Ohio Cardinal bout with a 3-7 record. In their last bout, Madison Comprehensive was edged by Lexington (Lexington, OH), 38-26, in a league bout.
