Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Firelands Falcons (Oberlin, OH) and the host Brookside Cardinals (Sheffield, OH), saw Firelands's basketball squad wallop Brookside by a tally of 54-17.

With the victory, Firelands improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Steele (Amherst, OH) to play the Comets in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 17. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Steele won 62-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Clearview (Lorain, OH)
