New Jersey High School Basketball - West Side can't hold off Arts
January 12, 2023: Newark, NJ 07103 The Arts Jaguars basketball team scored 54 points and held the host West Side Roughriders to 52 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Jaguars now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a Super Essex - American contest on Saturday, January 14. Arts will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 66-40 league loss to Seton Hall Prep (West Orange, NJ). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-7.
The Roughriders (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Immaculate Conception (Lodi, NJ). The Blue Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
