The Ontonagon Gladiators basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Chassell Panthers to 51 in the Gladiators non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Gladiators now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Linden-Hubbell for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Ontonagon will meet a Lakes team coming off a 58-48 non-league win over Ewen-Trout Creek (Ewen, MI). The Lakes record now stands at 5-2.

The Panthers (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Johnston (Bessemer, MI). The Speedboys enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Johnston ran past Baraga (Baraga, MI), 55-46, in a non-league contest.
