North Community Polars (Minneapolis, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host DeLaSalle Islanders (Minneapolis, MN), 70-64 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, North Community upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Polars travel to Milwaukee Bradley Tech (Milwaukee, WI) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 6-4.
