The Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning Fire Wolves basketball team (Nevada City, CA), was overwhelmed 55-30 in Thursday's league battle with the host Foresthill Wildfires (Foresthill, CA)

The Wildfires now possess a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Encina Prep for a Central Valley California League battle on Friday, January 13. Foresthill will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 82-66 league win over Futures (Sacramento, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-4.

The Fire Wolves (0-13) will now prepare for their battle against Sacramento Waldorf (Fair Oaks, CA). The Waves come into the Central Valley California League battle with a 13-5 record.
