In Thursday's league match, the visiting Lake City Trojans basketball team scored a tight 52-45 triumph over the Northern Michigan Christian Comets.

In their next game, the Trojans meet the Manton Rangers (Manton, MI) in a Highland match, on Wednesday, January 18. Lake City will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Rangers enter the match with a 2-7 record after their 73-44 non-league loss to St. Mary (Lake Leelanau, MI).
