The Sherman Tide basketball team (Seth, WV), dropped 62-46 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV)

The Patriots now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nicholas County for a Coalfield AA battle on Friday, January 13. Midland Trail will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 75-53 non-league win over Braxton County (Sutton, WV). The Grizzlies record now stands at 4-4.
