Iowa High School Basketball - Tripoli knocked off by Turkey Valley
January 12, 2023: Jackson Junction, IA 52171 The Turkey Valley Trojans basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Tripoli Panthers to 41 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Trojans now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Winneshiek for a Upper Iowa contest on Friday, January 13. Turkey Valley will battle a Warriors team coming off a 63-52 league win over Central (Elkader, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-5.
The Panthers (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Janesville (Janesville, IA). The Wildcats enter the Iowa Star contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Janesville was defeated by Baxter (Baxter, IA), 61-38, in a non-league contest.
