Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Cortez Colts (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting Tempe Buffaloes (Tempe, AZ), saw Cortez's basketball squad overcome Tempe by a tally of 37-27.

With the victory, Cortez improves its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Colts host Dysart (El Mirage, AZ) to confront the Demons in a 4A Black Canyon challenge on Tuesday, January 17.
