North Carolina High School Basketball - Midway overwhelms Harnett Central
January 12, 2023: Angier, NC 27501 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) and the host Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC), saw Midway's basketball squad wallop Harnett Central by a tally of 43-21.
With the victory, Midway improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Raiders host Clinton (Clinton, NC) to play the Dark Horses in a 2A Conference 7 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Dark Horses come into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Clinton lost 68-31 in their recent league challenge against St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC)
Next up, the Trojans play the Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 23 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Harnett Central will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 66-42 league loss to E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC).
