Arizona High School Basketball - Notre Dame Prep nudges Mountain Pointe

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Notre Dame Prep Saints (Scottsdale, AZ) basketball squad edged the visiting Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ), by a count of 50-43.

The Saints (11-6) will now prepare for their outing against Cactus Shadows (Cave Creek, AZ). The Falcons go into the 5A Northeast Valley outing with a 10-8 record. In their last outing, Cactus Shadows was tipped by Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ), 73-46, in a non-league outing.

The Pride now hold a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Higley for a 5A San Tan outing on Friday, January 13. Mountain Pointe will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 54-26 non-league win over Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ). The Knights record now stands at 5-10.
