January 12, 2023: Sioux City, IA 51106 The Tri County Northeast Wolfpack (Emerson, NE) basketball knocked off the host Siouxland Christian Eagles (Sioux City, IA), 40-29 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Wolfpack (2-10) will now prepare for their test against Lyons-Decatur Northeast (Lyons, NE). The Cougars go into the D1 District 3 test with a 2-11 record. In their last test, Lyons-Decatur Northeast went down by Oakland-Craig (Oakland, NE), 67-9, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Walthill for a non-league test on Monday, January 16. Siouxland Christian will encounter a Blujays squad coming off a 70-45 non-league loss to Laurel-Concord-Coleridge (Laurel, NE). The Blujays record now stands at 2-9.
