January 12, 2023: Black Hawk, CO 80422 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the SkyView Academy Hawks (Highlands Ranch, CO) and the host Gilpin County Eagles (Black Hawk, CO), saw SkyView Academy's basketball squad wallop Gilpin County by a tally of 53-9.
With the victory, SkyView Academy improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Clear Creek (Evergreen, CO) to play the Golddiggers in a challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Golddiggers come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Eagles play the Denver Christian Thunder (Denver, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Gilpin County will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
