California High School Basketball - Central Valley Christian tops Washington Union

January 12, 2024: Fresno, CA 93706

Central Valley Christian Cavaliers (Visalia, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Washington Union Panthers (Fresno, CA), 74-60 in a league bout.

With the victory, Central Valley Christian upgrades its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Kennedy (Delano, CA) to play the Thunderbirds in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Thunderbirds come into the bout with a record of 6-13. Kennedy lost 63-55 in their recent league bout against McFarland (McFarland, CA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Central Grizzlies (Fresno, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Washington Union will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 39-29 league loss to Buchanan (Clovis, CA).
