New York High School Basketball - Geneva overwhelms Waterloo
January 12, 2024: Geneva, NY 14456 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Geneva Panthers (Geneva, NY) and the visiting Waterloo Tigers (Waterloo, NY), saw Geneva's basketball squad wallop Waterloo by a tally of 67-38.
With the victory, Geneva improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Wayne (Ontario Center, NY) to play the Eagles in a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Wayne won 33-28 in their recent league challenge against Newark (Newark, NY)
Next up, the Tigers play the Mynderse Academy Blue Devils (Seneca Falls, NY) in a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Waterloo will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 72-51 league win over Midlakes (Clifton Springs, NY).
