The Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers to 38 in the Orioles non-league victory on Friday.
The Orioles now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Model Secondary School for the Deaf for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. Maryland School for the Deaf will play a Eagles squad coming off a 47-34 non-league win over California School for the Deaf-Riverside (Riverside, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-4.
Next up, the Deaf Hoosiers play the California School for the Deaf-Riverside Cubs (Riverside, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Indiana School for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Cubs go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 47-34 non-league loss to Model Secondary School for the Deaf (Washington, DC).
