Mississippi High School Basketball - Lanier thwarts Richland
January 12, 2024: Jackson, MS 39203 The Lanier Bulldogs (Jackson, MS) basketball knocked off the visiting Richland Rangers (Richland, MS), 61-46 in Friday's league test.
The Bulldogs (8-11) will now prepare for their test against Edwards (Ruleville, MS). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 16-4 record. In their last test, Edwards notched a victory over Gentry (Indianola, MS), 73-47, in a non-league test.
The Rangers now own a 6-14 record. They play next when they host McComb for a 4A Region 6 test on Friday, January 19.
