Ohio High School Basketball - New Miami overwhelmed by Lockland
January 12, 2024: Hamilton, OH 45011 The Lockland Panthers basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host New Miami Vikings to 20 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cincinnati Country Day for a Freelance contest on Wednesday, January 17. Lockland will battle a Nighthawks team coming off a 63-53 league win over St. Bernard-Elmwood Place (St. Bernard, OH). The Nighthawks record now stands at 8-3.
The Vikings (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Miami Valley Christian Academy (Cincinnati, OH). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Miami Valley Christian Academy triumphed over St. Bernard-Elmwood Place (St. Bernard, OH), 52-50, in a league contest.
