January 12, 2024: Middletown, CT 06457 Plainville Blue Devils (Plainville, CT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Middletown Blue Dragons (Middletown, CT), 76-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Plainville upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Maloney (Meriden, CT) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 4-4. Maloney lost 60-41 in their recent non-league bout against Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT)
Next up, the Blue Dragons play the Portland Highlanders (Portland, CT) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Middletown will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Highlanders come into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 60-54 league win over Valley Regional (Deep River, CT).
