Nevada High School Basketball - Sierra Vista tops Spring Valley

January 12, 2024: Las Vegas, NV 89147

Sierra Vista Mountain Lions (Las Vegas, NV) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Spring Valley Grizzlies (Las Vegas, NV), 82-68 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sierra Vista upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Mountain Lions travel to Somerset Sky Pointe (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Eagles in a 4A Desert bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-10.

Next up, the Grizzlies play the Coronado Cougars (Henderson, NV) in a 5A Southern bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Spring Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record.
