Louisiana High School Basketball - Slidell crushes Tara
January 12, 2024: Slidell, LA 70458 Slidell Tigers (Slidell, LA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Tara Trojans (Baton Rouge, LA), 78-45 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Slidell upgrades its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to St. Paul's (Covington, LA) to play the Wolves in a 5A District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 17-7. St. Paul's won 70-61 in their recent non-league bout against Salmen (Slidell, LA)
Next up, the Trojans play the South Plaquemines Hurricanes (Buras, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. Tara will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Hurricanes come into the bout with a 8-15 record after their 66-33 non-league loss to Phoenix (Braithwaite, LA).
