Vermont High School Basketball - Woodstock crushes Stowe
January 12, 2024: Stowe, VT 05672 Woodstock Wasps (Woodstock, VT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Stowe Raiders (Stowe, VT), 48-26 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Woodstock upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Wasps travel to Twin Valley (Wilmington, VT) to play the Wildcats in a Southern Vermont - C bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 6-4. Twin Valley won 48-35 in their recent league bout against Springfield (Springfield, VT)
Next up, the Raiders play the Randolph Ghosts (Randolph, VT) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. Stowe will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Ghosts come into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 51-47 non-league loss to North Country Union (Newport, VT).
