The Pocono Mountain West Panthers (Pocono Summit, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Allentown Central Catholic Vikings (Allentown, PA), 52-49 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Nazareth Area (Nazareth, PA). The Blue Eagles go into the non-league test with a 9-3 record.

The Vikings now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Parkland for a Lehigh Valley test on Friday, January 19.
