The Huntingdon Bearcats basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Central Dragons to 36 in the Bearcats league triumph on Friday.

The Bearcats now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Carroll for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19.

The Dragons (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA). The Mountaineers enter the Laurel Highlands contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Philipsburg-Osceola was defeated by Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA), 62-25, in a league contest.
