Connecticut High School Basketball - East Haven holds off Cheshire
January 12, 2024: Cheshire, CT 06410 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the East Haven Yellowjackets (East Haven, CT) and the host Cheshire Rams (Cheshire, CT), saw East Haven's basketball squad hold off Cheshire by a tally of 44-42.
With the victory, East Haven improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Shelton (Shelton, CT) to confront the Gaels in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Gaels come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Shelton won 54-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Wilbur Cross (New Haven, CT)
Next up, the Rams confront the Naugatuck Greyhounds (Naugatuck, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 15. Cheshire will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 46-38 non-league win over Kennedy (Waterbury, CT).
