January 12, 2024: Ellington, CT 06029 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Ellington Knights (Ellington, CT) and the visiting Stafford Bulldogs (Stafford Springs, CT), saw Ellington's basketball squad wallop Stafford by a count of 51-14.
With the victory, Ellington upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Knights host Canton (Canton, CT) to play the Warriors in a North Central Connecticut challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 3-3.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Rockville Rams (Vernon, CT) in a North Central Connecticut challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Stafford will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 50-19 non-league loss to South Windsor (South Windsor, CT).
