North Carolina High School Basketball - Northside Christian Academy crushes Gaston Christian

January 12, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28262

Northside Christian Academy Knights (Charlotte, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC), 79-16 in a league bout.

With the win, Northside Christian Academy upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Knights travel to Saint Gertrude (Richmond, VA) to clash with the Gators in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 5-6.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Hickory Grove Christian Lions (Charlotte, NC) in a NCISAA Metrolina bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Gaston Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 67-16 league loss to Concord Academy (Concord, NC).
