The Gretna Hawks (Gretna, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA), 65-5 in Friday's league test.

The Hawks (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Cavaliers go into the Dogwood test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Chatham walloped Dan River (Ringgold, VA), 51-10, in a league test.
