The Vikings now possess a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hawaii Prep for a Big Island battle on Thursday, January 18. Hilo will battle a Ka Makani team coming off a 76-39 league loss to Kamehameha Hawai'i (Kea'au, HI). The Ka Makani record now stands at 6-5.
The Waveriders (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Konawaena (Kealakekua, HI). The Wildcats come into the Big Island battle with a 15-4 record. In their last battle, Konawaena prevailed over Christian Liberty Academy (Kea'au, HI), 89-8, in a league battle.
