January 12, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87107 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Menaul Panthers (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Zuni Thunderbirds (Zuni, NM), saw Menaul's basketball squad overcome Zuni by a tally of 50-42.
With the victory, Menaul improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Red Mesa (Teec Nos Pos, AZ) to confront the Redskins in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Redskins come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Red Mesa lost 57-36 in their recent league challenge against St. Michael (St. Michaels, AZ)
Next up, the Thunderbirds confront the Tse' Yi' Gai Dine Warriors (Cuba, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 13. Zuni will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Dine Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 33-30 non-league win over Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM).
