Georgia High School Basketball - Rabun County tops Prince Avenue Christian
January 12, 2024: Tiger, GA 30576 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Rabun County Wildcats (Tiger, GA) and the visiting Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines (Athens, GA), saw Rabun County's basketball squad knock off Prince Avenue Christian by a tally of 72-56.
With the victory, Rabun County improves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Athens Christian (Athens, GA) to play the Eagles in a A D1 Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 13-3. Athens Christian won 72-30 in their recent league challenge against Elbert County (Elberton, GA)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Tallulah Falls Indians (Tallulah Falls, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Prince Avenue Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 45-35 league loss to Commerce (Commerce, GA).
