The Secaucus Patriots (Secaucus, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Rutherford Bulldogs (Rutherford, NJ), 53-39 in Friday's league test.

The Patriots (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Lyndhurst (Lyndhurst, NJ). The Golden Bears go into the North Jersey - National test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Lyndhurst notched a victory over Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ), 31-29, in a non-league test.
